CAFÉ SETUP

Opening a new café, from bean to bar.

// SURVEY → SETUP → TRAINING → SCHEDULED DELIVERY

Coffee, equipment, bar setup and barista training from a single supplier. You do not have to stitch four vendors together and then carry the risk on the cup yourself.

ANY STARTING POINT WORKS

Four situations we meet every week.

  • A coffee shop space in the morning
    THE CAPITAL QUESTION

    SCENARIO 01

    No premises yet

You have the idea and a budget. We give you the real numbers up front: how much goes to equipment, how much to the first month of beans, and what you can rent instead of buy.

  • Coffee bar setup for a new café
    ON-SITE SURVEY

    SCENARIO 02

    Premises but no bar

An on-site survey: power points, plumbing, bar height and how the barista moves behind it. The machine is chosen from your expected cups per day, not from a brochure.

  • A new café's espresso machine ready for opening day
    RAPID INSTALLATION

    SCENARIO 03

    Opening in days

One or two weeks left. We install, dial in on the exact beans you will serve, lock the recipe for every drink and train the staff before the doors open.

  • Precise espresso extraction at True Cafe
    FLAVOR STANDARDS

    SCENARIO 04

    Trading, but inconsistent

The café is open, but the taste drifts between shifts and waste is hard to track. We standardise recipes, dosing and the maintenance schedule.

    THE PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING

“Cafés rarely fail for lack of money. They fail because every piece comes from a different supplier, and nobody owns the final cup.”

This page deliberately prints no universal price list: two cafés of the same size but different daily volume and different menus end up with two different numbers. Prices listed on the website are retail, VAT included; trade prices are quoted excluding VAT, with the VAT invoice issued separately. Your specific quote follows the site survey.
HOW IT RUNS

Six steps, from the first call to the first cup sold.

  • Start a new café consultation call
    INTAKE

    STEP 01

    Call or leave your details

Give us three numbers: floor area, expected cups per day and your budget. That is enough for us to narrow the options down on the first call.

  • Bar survey at your location
    ON SITE

    STEP 02

    Site survey

Free within Ho Chi Minh City. We check power and plumbing positions, test the water, and settle bar height and barista movement.

  • Quote and cost plan
    TRANSPARENCY

    STEP 03

Agree the plan and the quote

Equipment, blends, delivery schedule and payment terms on one sheet. No line item left blank to be discussed later.

  • Espresso machine installation and calibration
    COMPLETION

    STEP 04

    Install and dial in

One to one and a half days. The grinder is dialled to the actual batch your café will serve, not to the machine default.

  • Staff training and process handover
    HANDOVER

    STEP 05

    Train and hand over

Standard recipes for every drink on the menu, dosing, plus opening and closing checklists — handed over on paper so new staff can follow them.

  • Regular supply and scheduled machine maintenance
    PARTNERSHIP

    STEP 06

    Scheduled delivery and servicing

Coffee arrives on the agreed schedule. When the batch changes, our technicians re-dial the machine so the taste does not drift between deliveries.

THE RANGE WE ROAST

Seven beans, one roastery.

Pick the bean by what you serve, not by the bag. Tap any line to see its flavour profile and brewing notes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

The six questions we hear most.

  • QUESTION 01 · INVESTMENT

How much do I need to open a small café?

It depends on whether you rent or buy the equipment, and how many drinks on the menu need a machine. We do not print one number here because it would be wrong for most readers — call the hotline with your floor area, expected cups per day and budget, and we will narrow it down on the call.

  • QUESTION 02 · OPTIONS

How does renting differ from buying?

Renting is a monthly fee with maintenance included and breakdowns on us — it suits the stage where you do not yet know your volume. Buying is lighter month to month over time, the machine belongs to the café, and it carries a twelve-month warranty. Many cafés start by renting and switch once sales settle.

  • QUESTION 03 · TIMING

How long does setup take, and do I have to close?

Installation and dial-in take one to one and a half days. For a café already trading we book a quiet window or the hours before opening, so there is no need to close.

  • QUESTION 04 · TAX & VAT

Do the prices quoted to cafés include VAT?

No. Prices listed on the website are retail with VAT included; trade prices are quoted excluding VAT, and the VAT invoice is issued separately rather than added to each line. Stating it plainly avoids arguments when the invoices are reconciled.

  • QUESTION 05 · COVERAGE

Can you work with a café outside the city?

Yes. The free on-site survey covers Ho Chi Minh City; nearby provinces are visited by appointment, and for distant ones we survey from photographs and floor plans, ship the equipment through our logistics partner and fold the training into the installation trip.

  • QUESTION 06 · BREAKDOWNS

After handover, who do I call if the machine fails mid-service?

Call the hotline during business hours and a technician handles it straight away; outside them, send photos or video of the fault on Zalo so we can assess it and arrive with the right parts. The full procedure is on the technical support page.
